Welcome to The StartupGuy

Hello! I am an engineer by degree and did my engineering from India and my MS in the USA. I have a fair bit of research experience in technology, have taught technology to engineering students, dabbled with app development, worked with some of the top startups and venture funds in India at Google, and have managed programs for top startups and unicorns in India and abroad.

I love to learn! I am deeply passionate about advancements across technology [Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Reinforcement Learning (RL), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), Cognitive Sciences, etc.], and of course, the startup and Venture Capital (VC) ecosystem.

With increasing responsibilities as I mature in my career, I find it increasingly difficult to continue upskilling and stay abreast of the day-to-day advancements in the Indian startups and VC ecosystem. StartupGuy is one of the endeavors I have taken up to propel my love for learning about the Indian startup and venture capital ecosystem. Of course, I am interested in startups across the globe, but the ecosystem grows swiftly and it is hard to keep track of all of the developments across the world. Therefore, I wanted to focus on the Indian startup and VC ecosystem. I am a firm believer of open source and would love to share the little I learn, imbibe, and feel with the rest of the world and I do hope that you, as a reader, benefit from this, even though incrementally :-).

P.S. Apart from work, I enjoy running, reading, chess, travelling, and spending time with my family.
